Max and Lily

I was searching for some photos of our beautiful cats in response to  Bowerbird Blue's Visitors of the Feline Kind question of 'how do you feel about cats?' and found some lovely shots of Max and Lily.
Lily was a stray found in Brunswick.....

Max came from a litter via a friend.  They have both been beautiful companions.

Although Lily was guilty of catching the odd bird in her younger days (before a bell on her collar put a stop to that), she now spends much of her time relaxing inside.

Max was never exactly predatory, or agile for that matter.  He could often be seen through the kitchen window crashing to the ground when attempting to walk along the fence!

Now 14 and 13 years old respectively, they spend around 23 out of 24 hours a day indoors snoozing and so they are not much of a threat to the wildlife.

What a wonderful experience it has been having them as part of our lives.  Often an attraction for little visitors to our house, as you can see from the pic with Max and the kidlets below.  Only big one and middle one around then!
